“The fact is that there is nothing to celebrate the 100 days of the prime minister,” explained Evgeniy Kopatko, founder of the sociological company Research & Branding Group, at a press conference in Kyiv. – But there is a closed sociology that was done both under that government and under this one. I emphasize: sociologists are the support of any regime. Now many of them, almost all of them, work for the authorities. And there is nothing wrong with that. But this sociology is simply closed. Because numbers and ratings are no longer particularly interesting. Everyone knows about the falling ratings of key politicians.”
The expert also denied information that appeared in some media that the “Opposition Bloc” is allegedly ahead of the “Petro Poroshenko Bloc” in the polls.
“I’ll tell you about the arrangement at the end of February,” Kopatko continued. – In first place, with a significant gap from others, although with significantly lower positions, is Poroshenko. Samopomich is one and a half to two times behind. If Poroshenko has a rating of 13–14 percent, then Samopomichi has a rating of 7–9 percent. And then there is a dense group - “Batkivshchyna”, “Opposition Bloc”, “People’s Front”. Three or four political projects with rating positions of 4 to 6 percent.”
