Advertisements for Crimean resorts flood Dnepropetrovsk: The authorities are powerless
In Dnepropetrovsk, public utilities are waging a war against advertising of holidays in the Russian Crimea, which is banned in Ukraine.
This is described in the story of the local Channel 9, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
Paper leaflets inviting people to the resorts of Crimea are of different sizes; unknown people paste them on poles, building facades, trees and fences.
Sometimes advertising has to be torn down using a ladder.
“We use spatulas and all the tools that may be useful to us when dismantling various types of advertisements. The fact is that the degree of their sealing is different,” said Zemgrad employee Maxim.
Local residents also help find prohibited advertising by leaving their requests on the hotline.
According to Igor Karas, inspector of the advertising and improvement control department, all areas of the city are equally covered with such advertising.
“If you contact these violators using the phone numbers listed in the advertisement, they do not respond to verbal comments. Today, dismantling is being carried out across the entire district, and tomorrow, or this same evening, the same advertisements with the same plot and content are in the same places,” he said.
