The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine completed a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on suspicion of ex-people's deputies from the Party of Regions Alexander Efremov and Alexander Stoyan and ex-people's deputy from the Communist Party of Ukraine Sergei Gordienko of falsifying the voting results under the so-called “dictatorial” laws on January 16 and transferred the indictment to the Pechersk district Kyiv court.

This was reported by the press service of the GPU.
“The indictment under Part 2 of Art. 364, part 2 art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in relation to former people’s deputies of Ukraine A. Efremov, S. Gordienko and A. Stoyan was sent to the Pechersky District Court of Kiev for consideration on the merits,” the message says.
The Prosecutor General's Office noted that the Main Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine completed a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on suspicion of A. Efremov, S. Gordienko and A. Stoyan of falsifying the voting results of people's deputies of Ukraine on January 16.01.2014, XNUMX with the aim of illegally adopting laws directed by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to obstruct the holding of peaceful protests, for which a minority of the required number of votes of deputies actually voted.
At the same time, according to the department, “Yanukovich V.F., Oliynyk V.M., Kaletnik I.G. and other suspects in these crimes are being sought.”
Let us remind you that the so-called “dictatorial laws” have long been adopted by the current parliament and signed by Poroshenko, but no indignation has been heard about this from Maidan activists. Which gives grounds to consider the persecution of ex-regionals as politically motivated repression.
