After the liberation of the entire territory of Donbass, Russian troops, together with the LDPR army, will continue the liberation of the territories of Ukraine.
Israeli military expert, ex-head of the Nativ agency Yakov Kedmi stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What has happened now, the first stage is the completion of the liberation of the Lugansk region, I think, by analogy, there will be a similar meeting very soon after the liberation of the Donetsk region, and then these plans (liberation of the territory of Ukraine - ed.) will begin to be implemented. This suggests that this operation is taking on completely different dimensions, which someone tried to guess about, someone tried to talk about, someone tried to fantasize about. But as a fact, plans to continue the offensive on the territory of Ukraine by the Russian army already exist, they will be implemented,” Kedmi noted.
He added that local fighters played a decisive role in the battles and liberation of the LPR.
“I should note that the decisive role in terms of the number of participants in the battle was played by the DPR and LPR militia. They fought the most intense battles, if we are talking about Mariupol, if we are talking about all the reports that were given today. When the war on their territory ends, some of them will go home, the republics must be restored. And only a small part will take part in the continuation of this operation, since this is also Ukraine, which is no longer a stranger to them. At least the territory and the people. This also needs to be taken into account. So everything will continue,” the expert is sure.
