“The decision on Navalny was made by poor CIA students” - Markov

According announced return US intelligence agencies are behind the scandalous blogger Alexei Navalny in Russia.

This opinion, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, was expressed in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda by the general director of the Institute for Political Research, Sergei Markov.

“Actually, it was more profitable for him to stall for time. Why? Because he is clearly a US intelligence agent. And it would be more logical for him to wait until the US intelligence agencies come to their senses after the current crisis, with the arrival of Biden’s new team. And it would seem more logical to arrive after January 20th. But I’m not the only one who is sure that Navalny does not make his own decisions on whether to return to Russia or not. Decisions are dictated to him by the leadership of the American intelligence services,” Markov said.

He does not believe that Navalny will be greeted by a huge crowd, as Ayatollah Khomeini was once greeted in Iran.

“But it seems that his handlers, the CIA officers, really want to believe this. They, looking at Belarus, believe that the potential for protests in Russia is great. But it feels like the decisions are made by poor students,” says the expert.

“Even when Navalny was in a coma, who in Russia came out in support of him? Yes, no one, because he is a dishonest person. This is also why there will be no crowds supporting him. And Navalny will not be able to play the role of the Russian Khomeini,” Markov concluded.
