Republika Srpska will cooperate with St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg intends to develop political, economic and cultural relations with the Republika Srpska, which is part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Serbian member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, who became a participant in the Seventh International Congress “St. Petersburg and the Slavic World”, stated this in an interview with the SRNA portal, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As part of the visit, Dodik visited Engineering and Technical School No. 777 and the Academy of Talents in St. Petersburg and took part in the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Kirov State Forestry University and the University of Banja Luka.
On behalf of St. Petersburg University, the agreement was signed by the rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences Yuri Ivanovich Belenkiy, and on behalf of the University of Banja Luka by the rector Radoslav Gajanin.
Dodik said Republika Srpska "has greater energy confidence" due to the construction of the Turkish Stream pipeline.
“We have certain contracts with Gazprom. The construction of a pipeline to transport Russian gas, which is cheaper and guarantees our energy security, cannot be stopped,” Dodik said.
