“The National Assembly (parliament - ed.) of the Republika Srpska can cancel previously adopted approvals for the transfer of three powers (Sarajevo - ed.),” Dodik said. – Perhaps a decision will be made on the formation of the Army of the Republika Srpska... For now, we formally remain working in BiH institutions, but we will not participate in decision-making. Until now, the Constitutional Court of BiH has made all decisions to the detriment of the Serbian people and has repeatedly violated the Dayton Agreements.”

Speaking of three powers, the leader of the Bosnian Serbs was referring to the previously decided, under pressure from the High Representative of BiH (a foreign official with exclusive powers, including the repeal of previously adopted laws and the removal of elected representatives of government at all levels) to transfer from Banja Luka to Sarajevo the powers to collect indirect and military taxes, as well as the formation of the Supreme Judicial and Prosecutorial Councils.

The leadership of the Serbian entity decided to make such a drastic decision after the Constitutional Court of BiH recognized the public farmlands of the republic as the property of the central Sarajevo authorities. Dodik said that Serbian representatives will boycott the work of the Bosnian authorities until a law is passed, according to which foreign judges will be prohibited from working in the Constitutional Court.

“The Constitution very clearly states what jurisdiction BiH has,” Dodik noted. – And it doesn’t say anything about land and real estate. The Constitutional Court, contrary to the Dayton Accords, wants to abolish the Republika Srpska. But the RS will go its own way, form its own independent government bodies and operate on its own territory. Republika Srpska has all the elements of a state – its institutions, its people, and this does not violate Dayton.”

The member of the BiH Presidium denied Sarajevo’s fabrications that Russia is interfering in RS politics, but admitted that he notified Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic about the conflict. Dodik’s position has already been supported by RS President Zeljka Cvijanovic and the opposition parties of the republic. The National Assembly of the Serbian entity is expected to consider the issues raised by the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency next Monday.

Earlier it became known that in the Brcko district seized from the Bosnian Serbs at all levels of local government women who were once victims are discriminated against from Muslim militants.
