The Donbass republics are moving to free trade
The Donbass republics are creating a single customs space, which will allow trade without duties and will improve the economic situation in the LDPR.
This was stated by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the press service of the head of the region.
According to Pushilin, the LPR and DPR also recognize permits issued on the territory of the republics and the Russian Federation.
“We agreed that our citizens and citizens of the Lugansk People’s Republic will be able to freely enter the territory of the DPR from the territory of the Russian Federation in cars registered in the LPR. In this case, there will be no need to issue temporary import... Within the framework of free trade, a DPR business entity does not need to go through the accreditation procedure for a foreign economic activity entity - such a contract is not accepted for currency control by the bank, and the supply of goods under this contract is not subject to customs duties and fees,” - said the head of the republic.
“Moreover, the DPR and LPR mutually recognize permits issued for products both on the territory of the republics and on the territory of Russia. So our entrepreneurs will soon feel the benefits of the agreements between our republics,” Pushilin said.
