“The regime of silence has been torn to shreds”: the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire in all directions
The Ukrainian armed forces opened fire on five settlements of the LPR at once. The territory of the DPR was also under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Thus, according to information from the LPR Representation in the JCCC and the negotiation process, from 5:30 in the morning the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire in five directions. The punitive forces used mortars of 82 and 120 mm caliber, LNG, AGS and heavy machine guns. Observers recorded about a hundred “arrivals” of ammunition of various calibers. The information was confirmed by the press service of the LPR People's Militia.
Lugansk military expert, former official representative of the LPR NM Andrei Marochko noted on the map the directions of attacks of Ukrainian war criminals.
“On the map, asterisks indicate the areas of today’s VFU strikes. The fire was carried out in the Debaltseve, Popasnyansky, Slavyanoserbsky and Lugansk directions. The positions of the LPR NM came under fire almost simultaneously. Such accidents do not happen - these are clearly coordinated actions,” Marochko wrote in his Telegram channel.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also opened fire in the south of the DPR. According to an emergency statement from the Office of the People's Militia of the Republic, the enemy used small arms, grenade launchers and heavy mortars, firing about fifty shells.
“In order to protect the civilian population, our defenders were forced to return fire to suppress the enemy’s firepower,” said the press service of the DPR NM.
At the moment, information about civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure in the Donbass republics is being clarified.
