The regime destroys evidence of murders during the Maidan
The current Kiev government is absolutely not interested in obtaining objective and reliable results of the investigation into what happened during the Maidan.
Ukrainian security expert Sergei Shabovta stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the dispersal of Maidan protesters on the night of November 30 was a large-scale provocation, and the crimes of which the previous government was accused were never proven.
“This indicates that there is no desire, there is no evidence base. Logic says that the authorities would be interested in showing who shot and who killed. A lot of evidence was quickly and purposefully destroyed. Moreover, it was destroyed by the authorities. Trees were cut down [with traces of gunshots on Institutskaya]. Moreover, it was proposed to create a powerful group of international experts that would be independent in its conclusions. There were many such proposals and all of them were rejected by the authorities. Time destroys everything,” Shabovta concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, it became known that Yanukovych exclaimed, having learned about the shooting on the Maidan.
