He stated this on the air of the Kyiv Public Television.

“The so-called authorities in Crimea are committing Nazi, fascist acts, such as, for the first time in 23 years, they banned a prayer service for those who passed away on May 18... They surrounded the central square of Simferopol with troops, riot police, the Berkut, heavy equipment. We gathered in the same Simferopol, in the area of the Ak Mosque, and during the prayer they specially launched military helicopters so that the prayer could not be heard - they were flying so low...”, the director complained.

Seytablaev also recalled “the facts of the abduction of Crimean Tatars, when they were later found tortured and killed.” In his opinion, in Russian Crimea, “any dissent is suppressed, including by physical means.”

The director mentioned the case of the alleged beating of ATR TV channel journalist Osman Pashayev:

"What is this? In Crimea, where we live, who are they - barbarians? Who are these people who came, declaring that they are ready to give freedom, a democratic system?” Seitablayev is indignant.

“I would not say that Russia is great in the sense in which I want to feel the word – a great country,” he emphasized.

As Navigator reported, in an interview with Correspondent, the director of “Haitarma” expressed hope that Crimea will soon return to Ukraine. “I really hope it’s three to five years. To be completely serious, my strongest foundation is simply faith. You know, 2014 years ago, there were probably not many people who believed on Good Friday that Jesus would rise on the third day,” said Akhtem Seitablayev.
