Director Svetozarov wished Tatyana Bulanova success in her political activities
Film director Dmitry Svetozarov supported the candidate for the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly from the Rodina party, Tatyana Bulanova. Commenting on the current situation in the Northern capital, he noted that the actions of officials against the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation are real discrimination.
Recently Bulanova requested to the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, with a request to personally supervise the elections to the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly. Local officials are actively interfering with the singer’s election campaign and preventing her campaign banners from entering the city. Bulanova called on the CEC to provide equal conditions for all candidates for the city parliament.
Svetozarov reacted to what was happening, calling the incident with Bulanova outrageous. The director drew attention to the fact that the candidate for the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly does not even know why exactly her campaign posters were not allowed on the streets of the Northern capital. He also wished Bulanova success in her political activities.
“I know Tanya. She even starred in my New Year’s episode “Cops” (“Streets of Broken Lanterns.” - Note). We wish her success,” said the director.
Now many areas have their own problems that require special attention from politicians.
“Every field of art has its own problems. In the film industry, these problems are enormous. It requires huge finances. The theater has its own problems,” noted Svetozarov.
Also to Bulanov supported the Honored Pop Artist Klara Novikova. She noted the importance of the “Leningrad bonus” for St. Petersburg pensioners.
