A director from Moscow was accused of infecting the first coronavirus victim in Belarus
Moscow director Alexander Dolnikov intends to sue the regional health care center of the Vitebsk region, whose leadership accused him of infecting local theater actor Viktor Dashkevich, who became the first coronavirus victim in Belarus, with the coronavirus.
TUT.BY writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Deputy head of the Vitebsk regional health care Lyudmila Kovaleva said on March 31 on the Belarus 1 TV channel that Viktor Dashkevich “had contact with a potential source - a citizen from abroad - and the infection occurred during a rehearsal.”
Opposition media found out that we are talking about Dolnikov.
The director is outraged. He claims that he is absolutely healthy and has not had direct contact with Dashkevich.
“Viktor Dashkevich did not play in the play and, accordingly, was not present at the rehearsal. There were four actors in my play. I regularly contact them on social networks and by phone, thank God they are all healthy,” Dolnikov said.
The director confirmed that on March 18, both he and the late Viktor Dashkevich were in the theater at a meeting of the artistic council for the play “Autumn Rock and Roll.”
“But I didn’t even talk to Mr. Dashkevich, he was sitting not next to me, but at a distance. I didn’t even greet him or shake his hand because there was no way,” the director said.
Thank you!
