Supporters of the Majlis in Crimea were prepared for the blockade of the republic and purchased livestock and food in advance. Ukrainian actor and director Akhtem Seytablaev stated this on the “Social Country” TV channel.

According to him, natural exchange of products is also widely used among the Crimean Tatars, so they will not suffer from the blockade.

“They bought flocks of sheep a long time ago, planted their own vegetable gardens and look after them. They have already had a natural exchange for quite a long period of time, barter, when fruits are exchanged for flour, and so on. Those who truly care about Crimea, and who consider it their homeland, will remain to live there,” Seistablayev said.
