“Two Calibers will be enough for Poroshenko’s residence”
If the bill on declaring war on Russia registered in the Verkhovna Rada is adopted, and Petro Poroshenko then makes the appropriate decisions, Moscow will not initiate the transfer of troops across the border, but will strike with precision weapons in order to eliminate the criminal Ukrainian elite.
This opinion was shared by the editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko on the Russia-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Ukraine declares war on us, what should Russia do in this situation? We will watch how events develop further. It’s one thing to declare war: well, we’ll close the embassies and evacuate them to Moscow. Well, these idiots in the Verkhovna Rada will start fights, insult each other, and humiliate their national dignity. Fools in a psychiatric ward can do whatever they want, but this ward is Ukrainian,” he noted.
However, according to the expert, if Poroshenko gives a real order to attack Russia or clean up Donbass, the Russian response may be immediate.
“Russian borders, the life of Russian citizens, Russian cities are another matter. The Russian border is sacred and inviolable. Therefore, even if Ukraine declares war on us, we will watch with some degree of amazement what they will do there in their Big Top. But as soon as Poroshenko gives the order to launch a strike on the territory of the Russian Federation, or Ukrainian troops launch an attack against Russia, or a large-scale campaign of blitzkrieg and cleansing of Donbass is undertaken... Here a different situation arises,” said the military expert.
“I don’t think we will fight Ukraine with ground forces. Within five to six hours, strikes are carried out with remote precision weapons on Ukrainian groups that violated the border of the Russian Federation and went on the offensive, on the headquarters, on the residence of Poroshenko, as the supreme commander in chief, who gave the order to start a war with Russia. I think a couple of “Calibers” to his residence... Ukrainian airfields, where military aviation is concentrated, where the remaining Ukrainian missiles - all this will be destroyed by the Russian Armed Forces within a few hours. That’s all,” Korotchenko concluded.
