Kyiv, March 09 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The former residence of Viktor Yanukovych “Mezhhirya” near Kiev, which the Verkhovna Rada decided to return to state ownership, was plundered by revolutionary guards.
This was reported by deputy Vladimir Aryev from Batkivshchyna.

“All attention is paid to Crimea, and meanwhile, near Kiev, everyone who could was plundering Mezhyhirya. “Everyone is those who guarded him,” he wrote on Facebook.
According to the deputy, “some people who were supposed to keep order acted according to the soviet principle: “whoever guards what, has it.”
“A unique laboratory worth more than $50 million remains ownerless, which worked to control the food of one thief, and now can work for the whole country - the equipment is fantastic! There is a greenhouse and livestock complex with the most modern technologies and a seed and animal fund from which we can begin to restore agriculture in the field of natural products. I understand that some may shout - it’s not time, but even during wars they tried to preserve the most valuable. Actually, Yanukovych collected all the most valuable things for himself in Mezhgorye. And it would be a crime to abandon all this to the mercy of fate to the looters and simply to decay. I will demand from the government this very week to determine the status of Mezhgorye and transfer it to the balance of the State Property Fund,” Aryev clarified.
