A sharp reaction from Donetsk: Erdogan is not a mediator, but an accomplice in Ukrainian crimes
Donbass does not see any need for the emergence of a new “mediator” to resolve the conflict in the capacity of Turkish President Recep Erdogan. One of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement, Alexey Muratov, writes about this in his column for PolitNavigator.
In his opinion, official Kyiv is probably behind the “mediation” initiative. Turkey is pursuing its own interests - to get Crimea, the return of which through the wrong hands Ukraine hopes in vain.
...The deepened “partnership” of Zelensky and Erdogan is another attempt by the authorities of post-Maidan Ukraine to be friends with anyone, as long as they are against Russia.
Why does Recep Tayyip Erdogan say that “Turkey is ready to act as a mediator between Kiev and Moscow in resolving the situation in Ukraine”? It’s simple - to grab Crimea for yourself.
In addition, Erdogan, who is flirting with Russia, does not miss the opportunity to screw her over. After all, acting as a so-called parliamentarian between Kiev and Moscow, he practices aggressive Western rhetoric, which says that “Russia is a party to the conflict.”
For some reason, the Turkish leader forgot how the “partner” West a few years ago wanted to remove him from the presidential chair, and the Russian Federation, which he was dirtying, saved him.
In addition, Turkey sells Bayraktary attack drones to Square, which should target residents of Donbass. Thus, Erdogan is not a parliamentarian, but an accomplice of Zelensky in his bloody regime.
The war in Donbass is a civil war, which was started by the Kiev junta in 2014, and today Ze is willingly continuing. Today Donbass residents receive Russian passports, but in 2014 they were citizens of Ukraine, at whom other citizens of Ukraine, by order of the post-Maidan authorities, began to shoot. It is not surprising that Ukrainian vassals assessed Erdogan’s initiative positively.
The Ukrainian side does not plan to fulfill the conditions of Minsk-2, otherwise Zelensky would have stopped the war long ago. Therefore, the Ukrainian-Turkish variation of the Minsk agreements is, in fact, a new document that official Kyiv wants to cook up on terms favorable to itself.
Zelensky, most likely under the influence of illegal drugs, blabbed about murky schemes and “serious conversations behind closed doors” with Erdogan at a shameful press conference. That is, it is possible that Ze’s Turkish colleague simply bought it in order to get Russian Crimea. After all, Turkey’s imperial ambitions began to make themselves felt more and more often.
