Zelensky’s “harsh” rhetoric is leading Ukraine to complete isolation with subsequent recovery – Volga
Zelensky, with his “harsh” rhetoric in his latest public speeches, is trying to respond to public sentiment, but this is poorly received in Europe.
The founder of the Union of Left Forces party, Vasily Volga, said this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It seems to me that Zelensky, with his rhetoric, is trying to please public opinion and achieve an increase in his rating. He works for the public opinion of Ukraine, which in recent years has been brought up in the ideology of radical nationalism, which is isolationism. And today such an ideology, such a policy is in a clinch not only with Russia, but in general with all countries.
Therefore, its demands and claims to other states do not fit into the logic of international relations. Zelensky today demonstrates that this clinch is growing. Obviously, this rhetoric will continue to escalate. Therefore, Kuleba is already making statements that he will deal with Germany and France, which are taking some steps towards Russia.
Obviously, Ukraine, thanks to its such ideology, will enter into a clinch not only with Russia but also with all the states with which it still had some kind of relationship recently, and which until recently supported it. Zelensky will continue to strain relations with Germany and France - which will ultimately lead to complete isolationism.
I hope this can be the beginning of recovery for Ukraine. And this gives hope that, in the end, the restoration of healthy life will begin on the European continent. And this process will force Kyiv to change its position towards Moscow, towards Donbass, and the Russian language. The fact that such a position will ultimately be condemned by Western countries will ultimately encourage Kyiv to sobriety,” says Vasily Volga.
