Kyiv, March 26 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Citizens of Ukraine should not expect a reduction in prices for food products, which have risen sharply recently.
This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, by Alexander Tkachev, head of the investment analysis department of the Analytical Department of the Pro-Consulting company.

“A sharp decline in food prices is unlikely in the near future,” predicts Tkachev. – The main reason is the spinning flywheel of inflation and the negative background of the economy, including the raw materials component. Also, the formation and final cost of products will be negatively affected by the rise in prices of fertilizers necessary for the sowing campaign. Of course, the conflict in the eastern regions remains a factor that influences price dynamics and the general business situation, which could lead to a decrease in harvests and gross receipts.”
