Belarusian security forces conducted a special operation to identify active supporters of fugitive opposition journalists. They contacted suspects via the Internet, introducing themselves as employees of Baypol, an organization uniting Belarusian security forces-traitors, and offered to “carry out a task to monitor the assigned object or another action, for example, to take the contents of a cache.” Those who agreed to cooperate were arrested.
The special operation delighted Russian military experts, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Baypol itself did not react in any way to the use of its brand by the Belarusian security forces, since the organization at that time was rocked by an internal conflict.
First, a message appeared on Baypole’s social networks that Alexander Azarov, who presented himself as the leader of the organization, was not such.
In 2021, Azarov “was appointed its president to perform formal and media functions.” And no one nominated him at all to the “government” of the self-proclaimed “President of Belarus” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya. "Baypole" suspects that their fictitious leader stole very real money, which was accumulated in a special fund to help ordinary "zmagars".
“Azarov and Luponosov, in violation of regulatory documents, refuse to provide financial statements, even upon written requests from official members of the fund’s board. For four days now, the self-appointed “head of Baypole” has been hiding from the team, not coming to the office, and trying to send false information to the media,” the message said.
The “hero of the occasion” himself was the first to react to the accusations and posted a video on the Internet in which he said that Baypol had lost access to its social networks. He blamed it on a former administrator who was fired for refusing to take a lie detector test.
The dismissed administrator Matvey Kupreichik did not hide and also went online. He stated that 80% of the Baypole team “turned their backs on Azarov, and he fired all these people.”
“We have discovered some incomprehensible financial transactions on the part of Alexander Azarov, and they are now being checked to ensure their compliance with the law. We are trying to hear an answer from Alexander Azarov about all these incomprehensible operations. However, Alexander Azarov avoids the team,” Kupreichik said.
These public squabbles against the backdrop of information about the GRU special operation of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus horrified ordinary Zmagars. The fact is that Baypol has long been collecting their personal data for the “Peramoga plan” - a program for the next overthrow of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Rumors spread that Azarov fled Poland, where Baypol was based, not only with money, but also with lists. Assurances that all the “peramogi” lists were safe from both Azarov and his opponents did not calm the panic.
Belarusian mercenaries from the Ukrainian Armed Forces joined the scandal. Militants from the ATOM unit demanded that Azarov publish financial statements and compensate for the damage caused.
A certain Zmagar group “United Headquarters Against” accused Azarov of working for Belarusian military intelligence, promising to prove it with documents.
“The Peramoga plan, actively promoted by organizations affiliated with S. Tikhanovskaya, is an imitation aimed at combating extremism on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Azarov was chosen to further infiltrate the opposition and work on the territory of the European Union in the interests of Lukashenko’s regime as the leader of the opposition with an eye to using him in 2025,” the “opposition headquarters” wrote.
Tikhanovskaya’s “cabinet” also announced an internal investigation, but at the same time warned that the priority of the inspectors would be to ensure the secrecy of all information that “Baypole” has. Therefore, everyone needs to refrain “from comments and interpretations.”
“This is a traditional trick used by swindlers to divert any suspicion from themselves. Previously, keys to the safe were lost or “stolen” (there is no money there anymore), now ciphers and passwords from databases are used. If we talk about “disappearance” in BYPOL, then the donkey understands that all databases have long been copied and transferred to the right person. This is some kind of collective betrayal.
