Ukrainian economic expert Vsevolod Stepanyuk stated this at a press conference in Kyiv dedicated to the Ukrainian consumer basket, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Believe me, large Western corporations, when making decisions to invest, give the human factor priority,” the expert emphasized. – not taxes, which are higher in almost all European countries than in Ukraine. They are higher even in Russia. But Russia has more investments under the blockade than Ukraine. There is simply no revolutionary situation there. Belarus receives investments many times more than Ukraine. Ukraine is supposedly carrying out reforms, but this is already a common name.”
Also, according to Stepanyuk, the Ukrainian state is turning into a virtual entity.
“With so many beggars, only very risky or dirty businesses can come to Ukraine,” the economist concluded. – Civilized businesses involved in high technologies will never invest a penny in such a country. This is the law, many textbooks have been written about this. Here we talked about a virtual consumer basket. But the virtuality of numbers in the state leads to the virtuality of the state itself. That is, if the state does not fulfill its direct functions, which are prescribed by the Constitution, then it slides into some kind of virtual plane.”
