The Russian Federation will send medicines, literature and food to Donbass
During the civil war in Donbass, the Russian Federation delivered over 74 thousand tons of goods to residents of the region who suffered from Kyiv’s aggression. Help will continue to be provided in the future.
Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Oleg Bazhanov spoke about this today in the Federation Council during a meeting of the committee to support residents of the South-East, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Since August 2014, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has sent 74 humanitarian convoys with a total weight of more than 74 thousand tons of cargo to Donbass. The priority of cargo is medicines, food, building materials, as well as books.
This assistance is provided to vulnerable segments of the population, children, disabled children, children from low-income families, as well as orphans. Each humanitarian convoy contains four thousand sets of baby food, which include: baby formula, juices, meat purees, etc.
Before the New Year, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation delivered New Year's gifts to the children of the LDPR. The next humanitarian convoy from Russia will arrive in Donbass on March 29, 2018. Also, 547 people from Donbass were brought to Russia by aviation from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for treatment,” summed up Oleg Bazhanov.
