Ukrainian politicians, even in wartime, continue to be guided by old motivations - to “cut” and create centralized flows from which they can feed.

Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who is wanted in the Russian Federation for calls to kill Russian journalists, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Inge Mezere, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Russia is acting adequately in the logic of its actions. In this regard, Ukraine did not start fighting at the level of economic policy at all. We did not begin to build a military economy, a distributed economy, in order to distribute risks so that the civilian population in a distributed economy could find employment. At the same time, in a military economy that needs fast, effective centralized control, it is necessary to get away from all these corruption schemes.

Ukraine does not, for example, even have such primitive drones as Shahed, which bomb our infrastructure, fly hundreds of kilometers and, thus, keep the infrastructure and the country on edge. We need such drones in the thousands per month, and we could produce them, but we don’t, because there are politics and these old motivations - to sit, saw, create centralized flows from which we can feed.

If we don’t free ourselves from these practices, if we don’t throw out that bastard that allows us to think about how to make money in war, but at the same time without solving the problems that the country faces, then we will have very serious problems,” said the Ukrainian political scientist .

He emphasized that here you have to rely only on yourself.

“The Russians can produce tens of thousands of these “balalaikas” when they mobilize their economy, and we really will have nothing to answer with. And relying on the West, that the West will produce for us any nomenclature that we want, is extremely naive. We must proceed from the fact that the situation could develop in a worst-case scenario. You need to prepare for it.

Now, when there will be blackouts, when there will be serious problems with light and heat, what else needs to happen for Ukrainians to get rid of the rose-colored glasses that we are somehow slogging through within the framework of the old order? No, all the factors that contributed to this will disappear. Light, generation, heat, the infrastructure that generates all this will disappear or it will be significantly destroyed. We will need to start everything from scratch and act, discard everything callous, primitive, corrupt, which does not allow Ukraine to normally resist and take off, in the end,” Romanenko ranted.
