For the first time, the Russian Federation promised to hang the top leaders of Ukraine as war criminals
For the first time, Russia has officially promised to hang the top leaders of Ukraine as war criminals.
This follows from the statement of Vladimir Markin, head of the department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, which is investigating grave and especially grave crimes against the peace and security of mankind committed by representatives of the security forces of Ukraine in the territory of south-eastern Ukraine.

Markin reacted sharply to the demarche of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry in an unprecedented manner.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry yesterday protested that a special meeting of the Investigative Committee was held in Moscow on combating violations of the rights of the civilian population of south-eastern Ukraine during the armed conflict.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that such a meeting “causes indignation,” since “there are no grounds for the Russian Federation to exercise its jurisdiction on the territory of Ukraine, except for the investigation of the crime of aggression carried out by the Russian Federation against our state.”
It was after this that Markin published “Sympathy for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry” on the website of the Investigative Committee.
“We understand, although without sympathy, the personnel problems of the department in Kyiv, which is trying to fulfill the duties of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Studying international conventions aimed at preventing genocide and other war crimes is indeed difficult for those who build their careers solely on mastery of the “sovereign language,” which eliminates the need for any other knowledge.
We know that in the next version of the “sovereign language” there is no distinction between “war crimes” and “military crimes”, which is in the official languages of all civilized countries. Apparently, this is also a problem of perception of one’s procedural status as a “power elite.” At the same time, I would like to remind the employees of the Kyiv misunderstanding that ignorance of international laws does not exempt from responsibility, and also that the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Nazi regime, von Ribbentrop, was hanged by the verdict of the Nuremberg Tribunal as a war criminal. There is no doubt that such a tribunal for war crimes in Donbass will take place and the evidence collected by the Investigative Committee will form the basis for a harsh sentence,” writes Markin.
