When they go to other areas, then, even if they get there, solving the problem of destroying them will be much easier than if they fight here in fortifications that have already been prepared for 8 years.
It must be borne in mind that a significant part of the troops that leave these fortified areas will die on the march. Yes, they will run from town to town, it will take two to three hours, during this time, naturally, airstrikes and artillery strikes will be carried out on them, because they will be outside the residential building, and nothing will constrain us, they will bear losses. A fairly large part will die,” said Sivkov.
The loss of Severodonetsk will also help undermine the morale of Ukrainian soldiers.
“They sacrifice the most combat-ready units, Zaluzhny understands this very well. Therefore, he is trying to pull them out in order to create the backbone of a new army. He has two problems. Firstly, leaving this area is a political defeat in the eyes of the West, and this is a likely curtailment of military assistance, the second point is an undermining of morale.
Under these conditions, political losses may outweigh the losses of these personnel. One more thing: when these units leave there, they will also tell others what was happening there,” the military expert noted.
Sivkov added that after Donbass, Russian troops, having received the necessary combat experience, will be transferred to Odessa in order to liberate this largest Russian port from Nazi occupation and reach Transnistria.
“After the defeat of that group, the liberated troops will be thrown here (Nikolaev, Odessa, – ed.). They will simply go along these fields, surrounding Nikolaev and Odessa, until they connect with Transnistria. And this zone, including the isolation of Chernomorsk, Belgorod, Izmail, all these regions.
Then the issue with Nikolaev and Odessa will be resolved calmly, that is, we will resolve the issue of de-blockade of Transnistria, and then Odessa and Nikolaev will be resolved. After this, the issue of supplying weapons, ammunition and fuels and lubricants through Romania will be completely closed,” emphasized the Doctor of Military Sciences.
