Turchinov's rhetoric suddenly becomes less militant and radical
The law adopted by the Ukrainian parliament in the first reading, in which Russia is declared an “aggressor and occupier,” will not help Kyiv return Donbass under its control.

The director of the Ukrainian political consulting group, Dmitry Razumkov, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert drew attention to the fact that the statements of Ukrainian politicians made during the discussion of the document became much less belligerent than “both Turchynov and the presidential administration” voiced at the last session.
“The rhetoric at that time was much more militarized, much more radical, irreconcilable, and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council announced that we would return Donbass in a short time. Fortunately or unfortunately, according to this law, which was adopted in the first reading, it is not possible to say that something will change globally and will be able to quickly help return the territories controlled by the so-called LPR and DPR,” Razumkov concluded.
