The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he said that the 79th Air Assault Brigade, at the direction of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters, had completed an investigation into the circumstances of the failed raid by Ukrainian saboteurs on January 22.
“According to established tradition, commanders always abdicate responsibility and appoint subordinates as “extreme” ones. The command of the 79th brigade did the same this time. Based on the results of the investigation, the captured Ukrainian saboteur was sent to higher headquarters as a deserter who fled from positions with weapons,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
Thus, thanks to the efforts of military leaders, yet another Ukrainian family was covered in shame, and a criminal case has now been opened against a Ukrainian serviceman who carried out criminal orders.
“I hope this incident will become another lesson for other Ukrainian military personnel, who next time will think carefully before carrying out another “brilliant” order from the commander,” added the representative of the DPR defense department.
