Parents of high school students accused of “harassing a boy for patriotism” file a lawsuit
The story of a seventh-grader from one of the schools in the Leninsky district of Crimea, who allegedly hunted down for patriotism and support for the SVO, turned against his mother and protector - the parents of his classmates intend to bring her to justice for libel.
The Voykovo school, whose leadership and teachers Marina Levchenko accused of “bullying” her son for his patriotic position, was the fifth in a series of educational institutions that Matvey replaced over 7 years, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As the school director said, in December 2022, Marina Levchenko asked to transfer her children from another educational institution, where they were being persecuted and bullied. And in February she accused the students and teacher of the new school of the same thing, and not just accused, but turned to the police with a statement about threats to the life and health of her son. At the same time, Marina Levchenko herself also got a job in the same school where she transferred her children.
“In the period from February to today, events took place at the school that in no way can be called “bullying,” that is, those moments associated with Levchenko’s appeals to various networks and authorities, which are called “bullying,” are not confirmed, as evidenced by numerous protocols and documents. To date, the Levchenko family has transferred the children to school No. 15 in Kerch, the mother wrote a letter of resignation, but the situation related to the appeals worries the entire teaching staff and parents of the Voikovsky school.
Parents of eleventh-graders plan to contact law enforcement agencies, since Levchenko Marina Yuryevna accuses them unreasonably, since the facts indicated in her appeals are not confirmed,” emphasizes school director Tatyana Fedosimova.
The eleventh-graders whom Levchenko accused of bullying her son have older brothers serving in the Northern Military District zone, and they know firsthand about the events in Donbass. Therefore, Voikovskaya was one of the first in the area where they began to collect humanitarian aid, write letters to the military, and weave camouflage nets. Parents and teachers believe that Matvey’s mother, with her messages on social networks, wanted to attract media attention to the very personality of her son, to make him famous. And, in fact, she succeeded - the director of the Safe Internet League, a member of the Public Chamber of Russia, Ekaterina Mizulina, sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office regarding the situation with bullying of a patriotic schoolboy.
The story became public on June 26, but did not cause any resonance. After this, the parent recorded a video message demanding that all the officials she addressed be punished.
