A relative of Poroshenko became the head of Manege in St. Petersburg
Anna Yalova, who, as journalists found out, is the sister of the wife of the eldest son of ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Yulia, took over the post of director of the Manege exhibition hall. She was appointed by the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Boris Piotrovsky.
Let us recall that Poroshenko came to power in Ukraine after the coup that occurred thanks to the Euromaidan in 2014. Then a “purge” began among officials who have relatives in Russia. True, this initiative quickly lost its meaning when it turned out that the ex-president himself had relatives in the Russian Federation.
We are talking about his eldest son Poroshenko named Alexey, who is married to Yulia Alikhanova. It is reported that her female parents have been living in St. Petersburg since the late 90s.
Julia has a sister, Anna. Already at that moment she was deputy Director of the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege".
And although it is not known for certain whether Yalova has anti-Russian sentiments, nevertheless, there are grounds for doubt. Previously the head of the Hermitage’s contemporary art department, Dmitry Ozerkov, left the country after making demonstrative public statements against his country. He was a protégé of the head of the Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, the father of Vice-Governor Boris Piotrovsky. This choice of candidates in this family raises questions.
Apparently, Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov is not concerned about such appointments. However, this is not surprising given the situation with the performance at the closing of the Russian Football Super Cup by the BI-2 group, whose participants had previously criticized the SVO. Moreover, people with patriotic views were fired from the team.
