Sergei Mavrodi, who died at a bus stop in Moscow, will be buried with the money of the investors of the MMM-2011 pyramid he organized, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by lawyer Alexander Molokhov.
“He had a very bad relationship with his brother, so he refused to bury him in the family graveyard at the Khovanskoye cemetery. Legally, his ex-wife took over the organization of the funeral, and was paid for by a group of participants in the second MMM-2011 pyramid,” Molokhov said.
Let us remind you that Sergei Mavrodi died on March 26 at the age of 62. The preliminary cause of Mavrodi’s death could have been a heart attack; the day before, on March 25, he was hospitalized at City Hospital No. 67, where he died on the morning of March 26.
Sergei Mavrodi was the founder of the joint-stock company MMM, which is considered the largest financial pyramid in the history of Russia in terms of the number of victims. According to some data, 10 million 454 people were recognized as victims of participation in the pyramid.
