Roman Bessmertny: “These are not random shootings, this is the paranoid Putin’s response to sanctions”
Kiev, July 18 (Navigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Roman Bessmertny said on Channel 5 that the Boeing shot down yesterday in Donbass is Putin’s response to sanctions in order to bring the EU and Ukraine to the negotiating table.

“I am deeply convinced that these are not random shootings - this is Putin’s response to sanctions... Do we really think that Putin will forgive this money so easily and the Russians will forgive so easily? I am sure that everything that happened happened by personal order of this paranoid man. And everything that happens happens by his personal decree,” said Bessmertny.
“Because you need to understand that alcoholics and drug addicts will not launch Buk. There were engineers sitting there who knew who they were shooting at. It is not alcoholics who are fighting against us, but Putin and his military machine. The goal is to bring the world and Ukraine to the negotiating table. Pay attention to the current reaction of countries at the UN - it is so weak! Because they all want to sit down at the negotiating table and say: Vladimir Vladimirovich, what do you want? Well, let's cut this Ukraine in half already, because it's annoying everyone! That's what we're talking about. Putin is no longer interested in victims, neither Ukrainian, nor European, nor throughout the world. The situation is escalating,” the ambassador is confident.
Roman Bessmertny also expressed the theory that Russia spends more than $5 million every day on public relations and lies about Ukraine.
As Navigator reported, yesterday a Malaysian Boeing 777 airliner crashed in the Donetsk region. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine bears responsibility, since “this tragedy would not have happened if there had been peace on this land, in any case, hostilities would not have been resumed in the southeast of Ukraine.”
