Romanenko: Today's Ukraine has existed for an unacceptably long time
Ukraine is a kind of shrew that lives brightly, but not for long.
Ukrainian political scientist Yuriy Romanenko stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the fact that a state like Ukraine was able to exist for about 30 years is a phenomenon and the result of the prevailing circumstances, when there were no aggressive external enemies around it, as, for example, in the 17th and early 20th centuries.
“This is a model I call the “shrew model.” The shrew lives quickly, brightly, eats a lot, eats everything it sees, consumes, in my opinion, six times its weight per day, because it has a fast metabolism, a fast exchange, but the shrew does not live long.
This is the fate of this creature. Here, Ukraine is the same shrew, which, by the way, lives surprisingly long for such a model as its one.
28 years is a very long time for such a big, fat shrew to exist. Marvelous.
Only because external conditions were favorable.
If everything was like in the 17-19-20 years of the last century or like in the middle of the 17th century, when there were a lot of external enemies, everyone was interfering, everyone had stronger organizations, then we would have been devoured long ago while we were there , sho, oh,” summed up Romanenko.
