According to Rosavtodor, the construction of a bridge across the Tuzlinsky section of the Kerch Strait, which is the southernmost of all routes, will directly connect Kuban with Crimea.
In total, members of the expert council for the construction of a transport crossing to Crimea considered four options for the passage of the crossing: Northern, Zhukovsky, Yenikalsky and Tuzlinsky. When evaluating options, factors such as the length of the crossing and the presence of entrances on both sides were taken into account.
