The Russian Guard disrupted a picket in support of the Crimean Hizb in Rostov
Three residents of the Krasnogvardeisky district of Crimea were found guilty of participating in the activities of the terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, banned in Russia. Rustem Emiruseinov received 17 years, Arsen Abhairov - 13 years, and Eskender Abdulganiev - 12 years.
This was reported by the press service of the Southern District Military Court, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the court, Emiruseinov organized in 2017 the activities of a cell of a terrorist organization, which included Abhairov and Abdulganiev, on the territory of the Krasnogvardeisky district.
“Emiruseinov, being the leader of this cell, and Abhairov and Abdulganiev - its members, using the ideological materials of this organization, carried out propaganda work among the population, persuading local residents to participate in this terrorist organization,” the press service explained.
In February 2019, they were detained by officers of the FSB department for Crimea and Sevastopol. All three did not admit their guilt.
Deputy head of the extremist organization "Majlis" (banned in the Russian Federation) Ilmi Umerov claims that more than 200 Crimean Tatars went to Rostov to picket the court.
“In the dead of night, at the entrance to the Kerch Bridge from occupied Crimea, all cars and buses with Crimean Tatars heading towards Russia were stopped by police. Soon, outraged Crimean Tatars organized a picket along the highway with posters “We are being illegally detained.” Vehicles with employees of the Russian Guard urgently arrived at the place where people were illegally detained.
When I write these lines, the Crimean Tatars are at the site of their illegal detention and are waiting for the opportunity to move on and be in time for the start of the trial of their compatriots,” the extremist wrote on his Facebook.
