A curious incident occurred in the work of Roskomnadzor. The department demanded that the Moscow City Court block the karaoke-besplatno.ru website by including its own IP address in the register of prohibited information.

Localhost, IP address 127.0.0.1, was included in the register of prohibited information along with karaoke-besplatno. This address is used to contact the computer to itself, regardless of whether it is connected to the Internet.
According to the entry in the register, the regulator blocked the IP by decision of the Moscow City Court on October 19, however, the decision itself deals only with the domain name karaoke-besplatno.ru, it does not mention IP addresses. From this, Roskomsvoboda came to the conclusion that the inclusion of an IP address in the register of prohibited sites is an initiative of the Roskomnadzor employees themselves, who are responsible for processing court decisions.
The blocking was carried out on December 10, but department officials corrected the error and excluded the IP from the register.
