Poroshenko's luxury vacation: Fishing in Norway, calling Merkel on the fate of Donbass

On Tuesday, the press service of President Poroshenko reported that the head of state held telephone talks with Angela Merkel, during which the parties agreed to intensify work in the Normandy format. Poroshenko also complained about the escalation of hostilities in the Donbass, blaming, as always, Russia and the proclaimed republics.
The piquancy of the story is given by the fact that the president discussed all these points while staying thousands of kilometers from Ukraine and the warring Donbass.
Poroshenko with his family and the family of his eldest son flew from Malaga to Bergen, Norway, on Monday. I went there on a yacht, fished, and admired the harsh northern landscape. In such a situation, of course, words of concern about the escalation in Donbass are heard more sincerely than ever. At the same time, Poroshenko preferred to sit out the dangerous day of the religious procession in Kyiv in comfort.
Poroshenko returns to Kyiv on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. Presumably on board a Cessna Citation Jet (CJ3), Air Hamburg, tail number D-CJET (flight number: AHO488V).
