Roscosmos offered to admire not only Crimea, but also the Dnieper
Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev showed what the Crimean peninsula and part of Ukraine look like from the height of the ISS flight. The photo was published on the official account of Roscosmos on the social network, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
From a height of four hundred kilometers on the surface of the Earth, cities and state borders are not visible; the Dnieper River, the Black and Azov Seas, as well as Crimea, Kuban and part of Ukraine are included in the photo.
“The Black and Azov Seas, the Crimean Peninsula, the great Dnieper River. Just to see these beautiful lands with your own eyes, a person will need more than one day, and one cannot do without the help of transport. But for this, cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev just looked out the window,” it is written under the photo.
