The reason for the ban was stated to be the unreliability of information on the packaging of goods: Ukrainian juice products did not undergo state registration for compliance with the requirements of technical regulations of the Customs Union, while its label indicates a single sign of product circulation on the market of member states of the Customs Union - EAC, RBC reports.
Recently, this is not the first ban imposed by Russian regulatory authorities on the import of products from Ukraine. From July 28, the import of Ukrainian canned vegetables, fruits and fish was banned into Russia. Rospotrebnadzor then identified a whole bunch of violations and various deviations from Russian requirements: non-compliance with the requirements for labeling, discrepancy in the mass fraction of the main product, discrepancy in the content of protein, fat, carbohydrates and vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, iron, discrepancy in the energy content value and organoleptic characteristics, discrepancy in the content of table salt.
On the same day, Russian authorities banned the transport of plant products from the territory of Ukraine in hand luggage and luggage.
