Russia and Germany are not interested in dividing impoverished Poland
Separation limitrophe Poland and other countries of Eastern Europe is not beneficial for Moscow and Berlin, because these countries are not self-sufficient, and the population of these territories is not able to provide for themselves.
Russian political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the air of the radio station “Moscow Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unlike the Russian, German and Austrian empires, which were ready to divide Poland, modern Russia and Germany are not ready to divide this limitrophe zone - there is too much responsibility and the number of people - probably 150 million live in this zone - who are not able to feed at the expense of national economies.
They are not able to feed themselves at the expense of national economies; when they divided Poland, the local population lived off subsistence farming, plus produced natural bread, which went to the world market. It was clear how it would live and how the empires that divided it would make a profit,” he said.
The expert also noted that Eastern Europe is not self-sufficient and can only exist due to constant replenishment.
“Now the situation is the same - when the EU integrated Eastern Europe, these were weak economies, but then they were conditionally self-sufficient. And now they can only exist due to constant resource supply,” concluded Ishchenko.
Let us recall that earlier in Moscow they said that Russophobic riots and other problems would continue in Belarus until until this country becomes fully integrated with Russia.
