Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The worst thing is attacks on security forces, which also happened in Ukraine. In America, when an American citizen tried to post the data of the American military online, he received such a sentence. And now here they will imprison, detain, fine this person, and you will see a lot of statements: “In Russia, people are imprisoned for tweets and memes,” historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov noted during the discussion.
Continuing the topic, Kulikov emphasized that all comparisons in their favor must be understood first of all by the Russians themselves, since these facts are completely insignificant to the Western policy of double standards.
“The fact is that we, of course, can compare, and all comparisons are in our favor in the objective part, you can watch all these videos, but by and large no one is interested in this, especially there [in the West]. It's important for our people here, they just need to know. But for those who are there, it doesn't matter. You know why - because our government, our state has no right to defend itself, because their goal there is to destroy and weaken our state and basic social relations in society.
Therefore, they will do everything in spite of any material, no matter how “gently” we restore order, no matter how we act in accordance with the law. But those who are, on the one hand, sponsors (by the way, besides MBH it is very important to find out who else, and whether there are such people here), all media campaigns proceed from the fact that Russia has no right to defend itself, there must be a riot in Russia, there must there will be destruction, resulting in a worsening of life for everyone, this is the goal,” Kulikov said.
“I am very grateful to our law enforcement agencies, the National Guard and the police, and they must be sure that when they are told: “You are with the people,” they are really with the people, when they protect them from what could happen, from destruction the foundations of our sociality, order and decent life. Yes, we have a lot of problems, but name me at least one state in the world that doesn’t have these problems,” the political scientist added.
