Russia is offered to catch a fish in the muddy Belarusian waters
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko may be overthrown not as a result of the forceful actions of the opposition, but as a result of a conspiracy by his circle.
Belarusian political scientist Kirill Averyanov-Minsky, who was deprived of citizenship due to allegedly anti-Belarusian activities, stated this on air on the CzarStream Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the elites are already turning against Lukashenko and could force him to leave. In this case, the likely next head of state will be the now arrested ex-presidential candidate Viktor Babariko.
“He will be forced to do this by his entourage - those people who make up the elite. And this will happen if they see that their leader has no social base. And this will happen if the nationwide strike takes place in full format. The Belarusian elite has already begun to go over to the side of the protesters; after all, the ambassador to Slovakia is not the least important person in the Belarusian state apparatus...
Here, in my opinion, there will be no forceful coercion to resign, from the point of view of forceful coercion from the street, but there will be a coup within the elite. After it, most likely, there will be elections in which Babariko will win. But I repeat once again, this will not mean a disaster for the Russians, because there will be troubled waters, there will be a window of opportunity and it will be possible to catch something in this troubled water,” said Averyanov-Minsky.
