Russia was offered to install TV towers along the borders of Ukraine for counter-propaganda purposes
Kyiv, June 02 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Russia should install TV towers along the borders of Ukraine, since after the ban on broadcasting of Russian TV channels, the population is deprived of access to information alternative to propaganda broadcast from Kyiv.

“Open a Ukrainian TV channel on the Internet and try to watch it all day. What are they talking about? That Russians are fascists. This is what motivates the population. It does not have access to real information... In Kharkov you cannot watch Russian TV channels as soon as you leave the border. Well, put up towers along the border!” – Novinsky suggested.
His initiative was supported by Dnepropetrovsk social activist Alexey Anpilogov. He cited as an example some rural areas of the Sumy region, where residents independently installed antennas to receive Russian TV, and now pro-Russian sentiments prevail in these villages.
