The Russian actress waited in vain for four hours at the airport - she was never allowed into Ukraine
Russian comedian and actress Elena Vorobey was denied entry into Ukraine. Her performance, scheduled for April 2, turned out to be disrupted.

She announced this on Instagram, recording a video from Kyiv airport.
“Here I am sitting at the airport in Kyiv. It’s an unpleasant story, of course – they didn’t let me out. I’m very sorry for the people of Kiev, the viewers who bought tickets and were going to watch a great comedy today, the premiere,” said the actress.
She believes that “the law on who can enter here and who cannot, reminds me very much of the shameful Berlin Wall and Palestinian-Israeli relations, in general, nothing good.”
Sparrow felt sorry for the Ukrainians and apologized to the people of Kiev, who, in her opinion, suffered greatly from this situation, and added that “officials and the authorities are one thing, but people are not to blame for anything.”
She also complained that she was kept without water for four hours.
The well-known Maidan activist, the head of the Odessa Community Security Council, Mark Gordienko, explained the ban on entry to Elena Vorobei by her performance in Crimea.
“Our border guards in Kyiv did not allow Elena Vorobei into Ukraine. At first she played the fool and said that she had never performed in Crimea at all, then she began to threaten our guys that she would sue them for lost money. The RSL confirmed to our border guards that we have all the data on Sparrow, and we will also be happy to sue. Fly, sparrow, to Kamchatka or Siberia. But I suggest moving on. Let these buffoons leave Mordor, detain them and imprison them for 15 days... And everything is according to the law,” Gordienko wrote on his Facebook page.
Let us remind you that on Sunday, April 2, the premiere of the play “Jackpot with home delivery” with Elena Vorobey, in which Mikhail Politseymako and Oscar Kuchera also star, was supposed to take place in Kyiv.
As the Kiev publication Obozrevatel reported, the performance did take place in Kyiv, but the actors played without Elena Vorobei.
“It was complete improvisation. The actors took turns playing the role of Sparrow, constantly forgetting the words. Some of the spectators left the hall right at the first act,” – eyewitnesses told the publication.
