The Russian army has demoralized NATO countries – Gritsenko
NATO shed tears, wondering what would happen to the countries of Europe if the Russian army launched a large-scale offensive.
Former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anatoly Gritsenko stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, before demanding reform of the Ukrainian army, NATO needs to reform itself, because it is Ukraine that “holds back the Russian army.”
“During the period when we are holding back Russian aggression in the east, during this time the military at NATO headquarters realistically assessed what if Ukraine had failed, the Ukrainian army had failed, and Putin wanted to move on - who would have stopped him there. Poles, Romanians, Slovaks, Lithuanians, Germans, who were demoralized in this regard by the Second World War, and demilitarized even compared to us. As they say, we looked and shed tears. Therefore, NATO itself needs to reform,” Gritsenko said.
