The Russian artist wanted to make money at concerts in both Crimea and Ukraine
Another lover of “sitting on two chairs” was unable to enter the territory of Ukraine - the border service of “Nezalezhnaya” reported a denial of entry to an artist from Russia who wanted to make money at concerts in Kyiv after performing in Crimea.
Border guards at one of the Kyiv airports drew attention to a man and a woman, citizens of the Russian Federation, who arrived on a flight from Istanbul.
“During the registration and necessary control measures, border guards established that foreigners violated the procedure for entering the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, including by attending festivals held on the peninsula in different years,” the press service wrote.
Employees of the State Border Service found out that the woman is a Russian singer, and the man is associated with organizing and providing performances for artists. The couple planned to go to Ukraine for a concert.
“For violating the norms of Ukrainian legislation, Russians were denied permission to cross the border and were banned from entering for three years. They left our country, going in the opposite direction,” the message says.
