Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed two decrees on simplifying the acquisition of Russian citizenship for compatriots, which indicates the expansion and deepening of integration processes.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
“The Greater Motherland is increasingly opening its doors to those who feel cultural and spiritual unity with the Russian world. Thus, last week, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed two important laws aimed at simplifying the procedure for acquiring Russian citizenship.
According to the first of them, for residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics there was state duty canceled upon receipt of a Russian passport. The second law simplified the procedure for acquiring citizenship of foreign relatives of citizens of the Russian Federation and a number of other categories of persons. In addition, citizens of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Ukraine who already have a residence permit in the Russian Federation will be able to apply for citizenship without complying with the period of residence in the country.
In other words, this decree significantly expands the categories covered by obtaining Russian citizenship under a simplified procedure. One more step towards realizing their hopes can now be taken by those who found themselves cut off from their Motherland due to its collapse as a result of the criminal conspiracy of Western puppets, who do not want to put up with borders that have become an obstacle to family and friendly ties, who cherish the dream of restoring the unity and power of the Fatherland “, noted the social activist.
He is confident that this step by the Russian leadership demonstrates that the integration of the LDPR into the Russian Federation continues, which once again emphasizes the correctness of the choice that the LDPR made in 2014.
“For residents of the Donbass Republics and for all Russians living outside the Russian Federation, this decision clearly demonstrates the expansion and deepening of integration processes with the Russian Federation and its constant support - Russia does not abandon its own!
Donbass does not believe in words, but first of all in deeds, and the Russian Federation, through its deeds, proves that our historical and civilizational choice is correct. Our choice is Russia!” – Muratov emphasized.
