The Russian defense industry can easily cope without Ukrainian factories, admitted in Kyiv
Ukraine, by blocking military-technical and industrial cooperation with Russia with sanctions, is tripping itself up, since these bans will have virtually no effect on Russian production. Former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Alexander Kava stated this on Channel 5.

According to him, for example, the famous helicopter engines of the Ukrainian company Motor Sich may well be produced in the Russian Federation, which owns the patent for these engines.
“This will not paralyze the Russian aviation industry, definitely. For example, with regard to engines for helicopters, almost all engines that are used by Russian aircraft manufacturers of helicopters are produced by the Ukrainian company Motor Sich, but the copyright for this design belongs to KP Milya, which is located in Russia, and in Ukraine there is only a site for their collection. Having all the documentation, it will not be a big problem to place their production at any plant in Russia. At the same time, it is much more difficult for Motor Sich to find a new sales market,” said Kava.
