The Russian prosecutor's office is conducting an examination of a film about militants of the Ukrainian nationalist battalion "Aidar", which received a prize at the Artdocfest festival in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was announced by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Andrei Kozenko, commenting on the results of his appeal to law enforcement agencies regarding the video materials presented at Artdocfest-2017.
Let us remind you that the scandalous film “War for Peace” was withdrawn from screening at the request of the prosecutor’s office. A psychological and linguistic examination is currently being carried out regarding the film “Flight of a Bullet,” which also received a special prize at the festival.
The official response from the Moscow prosecutor’s office states that the Ukrainian documentary film “War for Peace” “may promote the activities of the extremist organization “Right Sector”, its symbols, as well as other extremist materials. In this regard, on November 28.11.2017, XNUMX, the city prosecutor's office sent warnings about the inadmissibility of violating the law to the organizers of the film festival - President of the ANO "Premia Laurel" V.V. Mansky. and the General Director of Karo Film Management LLC, D.S. Cockburn.”
Despite the fact that the organizers of the film festival nevertheless removed this film from showing, another “masterpiece” of Ukrainian propaganda – “Flight of a Bullet” – was still shown.
The video is an hour and a half of “live broadcast” from the basement into which Ukrainian nationalists from the Aidar detachment brought the prisoner.
“It’s not even a matter of whether they show him being killed at the end or not. After all, if this person, defending his family, his language, remains alive, it will be more likely an accident. Such “works” should be viewed rather as material evidence of the terrible torture and abuse that Russians endure in the Donbass. And to give prizes for “this” is the height of blasphemy and a demonstration of complete disrespect and cowardice towards people who today defend the principles of the entire Russian world, including you and me,” says Andrei Kozenko.
The deputy expressed the hope that after a thorough inspection, which will last until July 2018, the strictest measures of responsibility will be applied to the authors and organizers of the show.
