Russian “spinner” in the SBU: Poroshenko can no longer rely on the intelligence service
The case of an SBU employee from Kherson, who was arrested on charges of transferring Ukrainian secrets to the FSB, proves that there are many more Russian sympathizers in Ukraine than is generally believed, and Petro Poroshenko can no longer even rely on his own special service.
Political scientist Denis Denisov told PolitNavigator about this.

“This once again proves that Ukrainian citizens do not particularly trust their country and do not feel hostility towards Russia. Total intimidation of the people, of course, played a role. People are afraid to speak out. But this case confirms that a huge number of people are constructive towards the Russian Federation... similar sentiments are manifested even in the special services,” Denisov said.
He believes that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko cannot count on his intelligence service.
“Poroshenko cannot rely on any structure in the country, because the traditions of political betrayal occupy a dominant position in Ukraine,” Denisov said.
Today, the SBU reported on its official website that the department’s internal security department exposed a Kherson SBU employee working for the FSB. The woman allegedly conveyed secret information to the FSB representative. The exposed employee is accused of treason and has already been taken into custody.
