Russian air carriers agreed to significantly reduce ticket prices to Crimea - Ministry of Resorts
Simferopol, April 10 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Several Russian airlines have reduced prices for flights to Crimea. The Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, Elena Yurchenko, stated this at a meeting of the Standing Commission on the Sanatorium and Resort Complex of the State Council of the Republic.
According to the head of the Ministry of Resorts, today five airlines from Moscow operate daily flights to Crimea. In the near future, a number of more flights from other regions of Russia will open.

“From April 18, St. Petersburg begins to operate, from the 25th – Baku and Yekaterinburg, from the 29th – Rostov-on-Don, etc. In addition, flights will be operated to Simferopol from Arkhangelsk, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kemerovo, Kirov, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Samara, Surgut, Tomsk, Tyumen, Ufa, Chelyabinsk,” said Elena Yurchenko.
She also noted that ticket prices for these flights will be reduced: “For example, a ticket to Irkutsk will cost 6,8 thousand rubles. This is almost 50% lower than the tariffs that were previously. Today the cost of a ticket from Moscow is about 45% lower than it was. Now a ticket costs 7,5-8 thousand rubles. But the Transaero company, under the Discount program, will provide transportation from Moscow and back at a price of 5,2 thousand rubles.”
